Hoa Nguyen's educational background started at Tulane University in Business School and shifted gears graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Cell & Molecular Biology and Psychology. She then went to the University of Houston College of Optometry with a Doctorate of Optometry degree. She has been practicing Optometry for 14 years, and she has been an entrepreneur for 10 years.
She currently own 2 successful Optometric practices in Dallas and in Plano, TX named Eye Pieces with her husband, Jaime Gonzalez. They take great pride in building and leading strong teams with a positive culture in their businesses. They started their real estate journey 4 years ago and multifamily over 2 years ago. Their real estate venture started in a resort syndication in Ambergris Caye in Belize because they absolutely love it there. They then bought multiple lots of beachfront land in different parts of the island, and they bought a lot of land next to the resort, which they built their own custom paradise home for rental. Then, they invested in teak and bought land in Nicaragua and Panama. They started investing in multifamily as limited partners in 2018 and are in over 2,300 doors currently. They are currently moving over to be more active on the GP side of multifamily.
They have a 5 year old daughter, named Athena, which they nickname “Ninja”! They love to travel the world and immerse themselves in different cultures and people. They are also very active in their community and involve themselves in non-profit organizations like Family Place, Chair the Love, Texas Scottish Rite, and smaller charities in the local community.
